Visual inspiration for the piece and its title came from my family’s stained glass and marble altar work completed in St. Teresa’s Church on Donore Avenue, Dublin 8. The church is a short walk from my studio in Dublin 8.

This work was donated and sold at Rays of Sunshine’s charity auction at Christie’s London. This amazing charity grants wishes for children across the UK aged 3–18. A few of the other artists included in the show were: Peter Blake, Tracey Emin, Ian Davenport, Faile, Michael Craig-Martin, Julian Opie, Dave White.
