Triptych articulating the seemingly unexpected nature of the world we live in. More about the title here.
The colour palette is predominantly made up of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and plays with the idea of transparent colours used in commercial CMYK print processes. Variations of C, M, Y and K (key / black) are overlaid to create tones. If all of them are overlaid a beautifully deep black known as rich black is achieved, that covers all other tones in the process. This idea ties in with the dominance the black plays within the three works.
